With Earth Day coming up, recycled crafts are becoming quite the hot topic. From jewelry made out of plastic water bottles to mosaic mirrors made from plastic gift cards, there’s no limit to what you can make using the contents of your recycling bin!
If you’ve been inspired by the green crafting trend, we’ve found the perfect contest for you. Delphi Glass and Diamond Tech Crafts are sponsoring a Recycled Arts Contest to reward and showcase eco-friendly artists just like you! The contest is open to crafters of all skill levels, and the only requirement is that you must incorporate at least one recycled element in your project. Acceptable projects include anything in mixed media, collage, stained glass, fused glass, glass jewelry, flameworking, mosaics and ceramics.
The contest runs through April 30th and results will be announced on May 6th via email. Ten lucky winners will be chosen at random and will receive the new Generation Green (G2) Bottle Cutter.
