Full disclosure: I do not have a dog. I have also never owned a dog.
I blame my parents. When I was growing up, they would brush off my pleas for a puppy. My mom and dad aren’t exactly “pet people” and their love for a little furry friend would not be enough to look past the fact that this dog would need to be trained, fed, and, shall we say, cleaned up after. In fact, my mom said she would only allow a dog in her house if it we’re wearing dog shoes (to keep out dirt) and dog pants (so it wouldn’t ruin the furniture). So I have never had a pet, save for a goldfish. I think the fact that I’ve never had a dog is what led to my slight obsession with puppies (I may or may not have two dog calendars in my apartment right now so I can look at pictures every day).
Which brings me to today’s featured product: Annie’s Attic Bling and Things For Dogs. That’s right – a book full of wearable crochet projects for your favorite furry friend! I have a soft spot in my heart for dogs and other animals that can pull off a cute or creative outfit.
In this book, you’ll find 40 pages filled with 22 unique crochet projects for your favorite canine companion. Beading is a big part of this book – use them to bling up your dog’s wardrobe! The projects range from beginner to intermediate – no expert skills required. If you have some enthusiasm and and interest in making your pet look good, then you’ll be set. This book has everything from lap pillows to collars. My personal favorite project is the Dog Carry Bag!
